Every year OH and I go to the New Forest in the pannage and we have never yet seen a pig. |

Not so many pigs have been let out in recent years. I saw some last year at Fritham, in the forest beyond the Royal Oak pub (well worth a visit), and, believe it or not, at Pigbush! However, though they tend to stay in the general area where they were released - and that could be anywhere! |

Pigs are highly intelligent and are not so daft as to wonder around the Forest highways where grockles and impatient locals who should know better can smash into them. They go into shady muddy places where they can root around for vegtarian and truffly delights. |
