had never tried them but tonight they were on offer in Tesco so I thought I'd give them a try - picked up a chicken and mushroom one - how disgusting - ate a few forkfuls and ditched it - yuk yuk yuk :-( :-( :-(

About once every eighteen months to two years I will have a Pot Noodle or the Aldi equivalent.

I put some sultanas in one of the curry ones.

Ah! Pot Noodles

On last week's trip to Margaret River, one of the most renowned wine and food regions in WA, if not the whole of Australia, we ended up eating pot noodles :-0

The purpose of the trip?

To celebrate our forty-fifth Wedding Anniversary :-D

However, not withstanding that we journey tomorrow to Kalbarri, a journey of about nine hours. As we anticipate that the few shops there will be closed when we arrive, we are taking with us.......

POT NOODLES!!

Pot noodles must be one of the few things where the smell of monosodium glutamate overpowers the fake smell of despair. :-(

Vesta paella - reminiscent of my life in a bedsit!

I tried them once.......... years ago, when you had to add boiling water (before the microwave ones).

DOUBLE DOUBLE YUK!!!! All I could smell & taste was salt & slime.

I think there were 4 sachets in the box........

the one I tried was slopped into the bin, and the three unopened ones followed.

I used to have the ones you added boiling water to in the 80s sometimes when away from home with work. Didn't mind them and it was something hot when staying in a hotel (lunchtime).
