Well said Stray, the rest of the year it's all home cooking
in my house, not by me I might add but by my OH, he is
head cook, bottle washer and cleaner and a damned good
carer.

Are "slap predictive texts" a new Android or (shudder) Apple thing?

JoyBoroAngel

JoyBoroAngel Report 13 Sep 2015 18:40

I've only had it three weeks so its not quite trained yet :-D :-D

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 13 Sep 2015 18:39

And quite right too!

(What is a "slap predictive text")

JoyBoroAngel

JoyBoroAngel Report 13 Sep 2015 18:33

An interesting theory but ok. Although it can, unfortunately, occasionally lead to confusion in the supermarket and at the checkout.

Im a firm believer that people should be able to eat exactly what they want, however they spell it........

I said they were in my cupboard, they won't be eaten by me. My daughter thought she was doing a favour when I was poorly and bought them in as a quick fix. I don't like them at all.

Yes, who started talking about a Barbie (sic) ?

JoyBoroAngel

JoyBoroAngel Report 13 Sep 2015 17:35

I am leaning more and more towards halal lamb
to be honest

BUT BACK TO POT NOODLES

I don't think I will ever try them :-D :-D

I eat them very occasionally simply because i like them.

All my main meals are made from scratch because i am a vegetarian and pot Noodles is an occasional treat because i doubt very much if there is any meat in them.

Very true - you have to be so careful and make sure that lamb remains tender and sweet.

I always like it to remain subtle, oops, supple.

JoyBoroAngel

JoyBoroAngel Report 13 Sep 2015 17:21

What I really like best is popping a bit of lamb on the Barbie
But it has to be really hot

So it goes crispy not bitter and tough ;-) ;-) ;-)

eRRolSheep Report 13 Sep 2015 17:15

If I haven't made it from scratch I don't eat it.

Has nobody heard of cooking? Vesta, Pot Noodle et al (and all other ping food) are just the lazy man's cooking. And students of course.

JoyBoroAngel

JoyBoroAngel Report 13 Sep 2015 17:03

I am pleased to say
I've never had one to and wont be trying them
they look like cardboard food to me ;-) ;-)

though I do like Chow Mein :-D

Phyll

Phyll Report 13 Sep 2015 16:51
