Yes Fly, my mum had terrible veins and she used to lay on the floor with her legs up the wall to take the pressure off.

I drive my kids to distraction with the shoes I wear .... keep 'em on their toes, it'll broaden their outlook is what I say.

Granddaughter, meanwhile, is quite philosophical about them .... my type of girl!

Barb :-) <3 - try reading if you can't sleep. Another trick I try is going through the alphabet with things - towns, countries, etc. My favourite is words beginning or ending with a particular letter.
