I think so, Ann, looking at the dates :-D :-D - he was a lot older than her, and she died after her third child, probably in childbirth, poor thing :-(

I did my pal's family tree for her, and her GGrandad took a young girl from the workhouse as his serving maid, and he married her a few years later :-D

Oh! - I thought you meant the eggy bread type French Toast, Minxy! :-D :-D :-D

I used to like those Dutch crisp toasts, and the Scandinavian rolls, though you could break your teeth on those :-0

All this diet food - I should be skinny :-( ;-)

Grahams old Auntie was Cook at a stately home and she married the groom, later to be chaufeur ( driver ) cant spell tonight ha ha . When there were grand evenings they sent for girls from the workhouse to help in the scullery and kitchen.
