Been having the flu jabs for several years now.......never had a problem, even with OH's ill health. :-D

I think maybe the flu jab affects some people more than others, a couple of years ago we had really bad coughs afterwards other years we had no problems so we continue to have them.

We haven't had them for years as the last time we did we both had the worst flu type cold ever.

Both said never again :-(

Hi Barbra, didn't feel a thing from Monday until this morning. Maybe I laid awkwardly on it last night, It is not really painful just stiff. Had it for quite a few years now and any side effects have been minimal and better than getting flu. (which I have never had thank goodness since I apparently had it at two years old!!)

Allan has also looked for the panto thread but I think Christine who started the thread has deleted her account which will have wiped out all her threads sadly.

Never had it,Friends did and they were quite ill afterwards, An article in the Media reported that it was not a lot of good in most cases as there are numerous types of flue and it does,nt cover all of them.Having had Malaria I was informed that I had a choice (After Discharge from the Forces) Either Qinine or Malt Whisky to help if it returned, :-D I chose the Latter,it tastes better and did the job.Hope your arm gets better soon. ;-)

Anyone had any after effects? I had no problems and hardly felt it after it was done on Monday but today the gland under my arm that side is up and my arm is really stiff. Strange!
