Polly, this happened tome, too. A few years ago, I gradually lost my sense of smell and taste until they were non-existent. My doctor gave me a steroid nasal spray, but it made no difference, and like you, I was told I'd have to live with it. |

You have missed the smell of harvest for this year but there will be ploughing. I can't imagine not being able to smell those. |

my Dad lost his sense of taste and smell when he suffered a fractured skull after being hit by a miotorbike - he never regained either but carried on eating the things he liked by remembering the taste and smell |
