I know that Asd's banning it BarbSG, but I'll check with M & S cos that's where our Friday meet for coffee takes place. May have to choose elsewhere if M & S is having a B Friday. Plenty here to choose from though.

Bleedy Hermes delivery people....just spotted a note through me front door...parcel left at gate...I was sitting here he didn't ring the bell :-0 :-0

Given the front door is under cover..he dumped it at the other end of house on the wet ground whilst it was pouring down. It was Darlinks Lego...the box would have been ruined had it been out any longer...am going to email John Lewis and tell them!

Nice Emma.

I know the area a little bit as both of my nephews are based in Aberdeenshire. The last time we were there was about 18 months ago when we also met up with an old friend who, sadly, now lies with his wife in the local cemetery.

I also had distant cousins in Aberdeen at one time.

A long drive up there for us but once we used the train and it was very relaxing even though we had to change. There was still snow on the hills and it was April. :-S

One at Lossiemouth and the other was at Inverurie.

Our friends both lie in the Old Meldrum Cemetery. We visited her grave with her husband last year and shortly afterwards he, too, was laid to rest there. We lived near each other overseas.

The distant cousins were in Aberdeen but both are now dead.

We've always enjoyed our time there, Emma.

Our first visit to Scotland (just the two of us) was almost 50 years ago when we toured the western side as far as Oban. :-)

We are about 17 miles from Inverurie and
69 from Lossiemouth.

Oban on the west coast is beautiful. :-)
