I have been on a wild goose chase...phone call from school nobody had picked the Darlinks up as after school club was closing early...had to dash up there in this awful weather just as daughter was coming out with them fuming...they had rang her mobile..which she can't pick up whilst teaching...on checking later she rang the school 7 times and no one picked up the phone..probably all busy in the hall with the fete..she was not a happy bunny :-0 :-0 :-0

I was beginning to get bored and thought I'd have to do some housework but held out as long as I could. Then it was time for the school run so I was saved. :-D

The young 'un now at home and I've had a coffee with my daughter and put something into the oven.

I can see that you've had a bit of a run-around, Ann. It's awful when that happens, it's only been once for me when the after-school club was cancelled. I've also gone for him twice at 3.30 when I've forgotten the club was on and it was a 4.30 finish. I came home one time but the other time as it was a beautiful sunny day and my cousin lives around the corner from school, I had an hour in her garden chatting over a coffee.

Emma, is it wild where you are? I mean the weather of course. Any snow lying yet? I can see from the news that there are going to be a lot of disgruntled drivers North of Edinburgh for a few weeks. Let's hope the weather's kind to them.
