It seems that he now "sells" his name for use for the tower and hotel ............ ie, licenses his name.

Neither he nor his company will seemingly be involved in the running of either the hotel nor the apartment section of the tower

BUT it is believed that there is a "cachet" to having something that has his "brand" on it, because of the Trump Tower in NY, etc ....... ie, luxury.
