I thought mental arithmetic included additions and subtractions in addition to multiplications

Sylvia,
Aren't times tables mental arithmetic? :-S :-S :-S :-S
I can count on my fingers AND my toes :-D

I went to 'sign on', on Friday (unemployed), and the pad I was meant to 'sign on' to wasn't working :-S
What I find hilarious, is, nomatter how unlike my signature I sign- it comes up as 97% 'probably' my signature :-S :-S

maggie ..............

that's one advantage we older ones have over the current youngsters ..................

we still know our times tables and can count on our fingers ;-)

Some of us may even be able to remember mental arithmetic :-D

I had to 'sign in ' last week.
My bank also couldn't give me a statement.
Supermarket had trouble giving me 'cash back'.
Whatever will happen when the 'whole' system goes down?

I'm just glad I know my times tables :-S

>>>>>> Only just managed to get in after trying all day yesterday.

I could sometimes get as far as the sign in page, then .......nothing.

SylviaInCanada Report 13 Dec 2015 21:21

all I know is that I had to sign in the other day, which is unusual for me.

BUT I had done disc clean-up the previous evening, so just thought it was due to that.

I did sign in, made sure that the Remember Me boxes were ticked, and have had no problems since

I do only use a desktop, don't use OH's laptop, and don't any other devices

Shirley ...........

are you sure that you have ticked the box "Remember me"?

That is one reason why you might have to sign in every time.

Allan Report 10 Dec 2015 21:38

Yep!

Not only that, the site wont accept my first sign on so I have to repeat the procedure before being able to access the site.

Twice each time!

This, together with the error messages, is reinforcing my decision as to whether to renew or not in February :-| :-|
