I can see I have missed Footy yet again.

Got back in for lunch and soon out again, this time for the school run. The young un has to wrap up the peppermint creams he made for his parents - lovely treat bags we have.

what a day - neighbour rang me to say her dogs had gone missing - someone had opened the back gate - she had rung the pound and within a few minutes a chap rang to say he had them - over six miles away on the other side of the City!!! She's not from these parts, her husband who is, is away, so she asked if I'd go with her to find this place. I knew roughly where it was and it was on a housing estate which is like a maze - eventually we found the house and retried the dogs - took about two hours in all - phew, at least she's got them back and they are truly in the dognouse!!!
