There was an elderly lady trying to push in the queue in the card shop today. She eventually went to the front asking if she could jump in as her husband was disabled and couldn't stand for long. Someone let her in of course. The pair of them walked quite happily around after that, but we got in the lift together, where she barged straight past me as we got out without so much as a "by your leave". |
