Only pop in now and then! Just seen your post and thought what a lovely idea.

Had the family round as usual , only time they all get together!

The only thing i regret is lost family and friends , may they never be forgotten.

oh!! and eating too many fig biscuits, i keep running to the loo!!

i,ll never learn.

Lovely idea Ann and a welcome 'meeting place' especially for those who may be on their own over the festive period.
We had a real family Christmas and my 3 adult children enjoyed telling their NZ cousin about traditions that have carried on in the family for generations. eg. finding a sugar mouse in one's Christmas stocking.
She was fascinated to see sprouts on stems in our greengrocers, so we bought some like that so that she could snap them off and help prepare them, when she was on 'veg. duty' on Christmas Eve.

My best wishes to all, that the festive good cheer might continue with goodwill towards others in the New Year.
