We're actually going to a party, something we've not done for quite a few years so I have no idea what time we'll get home but we'll be able to walk it, something I quite enjoy doing when all the streets are quiet.

Don't know how it is with everyone else, but in our house I prefer Christmas while Hubby prefers New Year's Eve - it seems to be a thing with people born and brought up in the North East but it never has been with my family. Did you find that Lyn?

Anyway, I'll be dressed in my finery :-D :-D :-D

Joy - we used to party all night when I lived in the North East, and I'd rather not remember some of my hangovers :-0 :-D ;-)

But it's a lot quieter down here - just a quiet drink and hubby as the first foot is the norm in this house - though I don't mind these days :-D

Lyn, Hubby watches in the family room and I watch in the lounge, so there's never a disagreement. We tend to like different things but every morning we watch the news as we sit around the kitchen table - that's something we've done since we both retired. :-D Don't you get into habits after retirement! :-S

Fly, no party frock but a lovely pair of black trousers with some sparkle in them in lines running down - don't know any other way to describe them :-D

Of course I'll be wearing them with a very-low cut, alluring see-through top NOT :-S :-0

Frightening that Fly, coz son came back from Asia then went to Dubai for a couple of days. A fire there when he was there would have given me the collywobbles until I heard from him that he was safe. I know the odds would have been in his favour but ...... I would have still been on edge.

Fly, I'm imagining Hubby's face if I'd decided to wear a see-through anything :-S By the way, I thought you and/or OH would have enjoyed cricket. :-D

Joy the only sport OH watches is the Grand Prix, Motorbike racing :-) and Rallying
