Non stop rain again and very windy, thank goodness

Wet and miserable here with grey sky. :-(

I met friends for coffee this morning and left Hubby languishing in bed :-S He was just finishing off his breakfast when I got back.

I've taken the cards down but left the other things for another day. I put warm white lights above the kitchen cupboards and I think they look so welcoming and pretty that I am going to leave them there all year round. :-D

I see it looks as though Dermot's broken a new year resolution already. :-S I never make any, what about everyone else? :-D

It's not stopped raining here for 3 days....dam Currys just rang to say my new computer is ready for pickup...they told me yesterday it would be Monday...I ain't going out in this weather to battle the traffic..twill be mad down there again today...I have me gas fire on and the paper to read :-D :-D

Are your school's back tomorrow? If so, the traffic will not be bad between 9 and 3-ish so probably a good time to pick it up. :-)

Am going to go tomorrow as I need to take some bedding back to M&S as well, because of the weather they will all be in the shops and eating houses down there..it's always mad at the weekends anytime :-D

She is so funny...when she put some on Xmas Day....she looked like a fish cos she was trying to talk and keep her lips apart at the same time :-D :-D

Ann, our local shops (where Marksy's is) are always frantic at weekends too. I've been for coffee this morning but that was about 9.45 before the 10 opening time for most of them. By the time I got in the car to come home it was starting to get busy.
