The forecast for my corner of Kent was for a dry and bright start to the morning :-) but frequent showers and blustery winds are expected shortly and some of the showers will be heavy at times :-( well it can rain all it wants and be as windy as it wants now ;-) because I popped along early to my local town on my mobility scooter to get a few bits and bobs ;-) and although it was quite chilly :-( I managed to get there and back without getting wet :-D

So wherever you are and whatever you will be doing today :-) be vigilant :-) take care :-) stay safe :-) keep warm :-) smile and make the most of your day :-)

And remember that your present circumstances don't determine where you can go :-) they merely determine where you start :-)

I'm surprised that nobody has complained about or even mentioned the new EU rule which came into force on New Year’s Day.

I'm not too well up on these matters & my hearing can be dodgy at times but I'm sure I heard on the radio yesterday that apparently 12 Finches will no longer be allowed make up a foot.

So, throw away all your old measuring tapes. They are now out-of-date & illegal in the EU region.

Me too Emma :-D I can't sing for toffee apples, or so I'm told, but I do like to sing. We have some good singers in the family but it has not rubbed off on me :-S

We are all singers in my family although I must admit
my voice is not as strong as it used to be. :-)

My mum and dad were good singers and boy could

No Emma. It is something I'd pick up. My reading list is wide and varied. :-)

At the moment I am almost finished a book for the young un. Before I gave it to him. I thought I'd read it to check there was nothing unsuitable in it. :-)
