I gave myself a Christmas name years ago
Then it wouldn't let me change it back

I tried a few days ago to change my avatar. It just won't let me. It has just gone back to the anonymous man. I have tried on the pc, laptop and iPad. None work.

bob, every year I have changed to Sparkling ann and every year I have changed back. and I have frequently changed my avatar. I think this is a glitch, not helped by the holidays of staff.

The only way I can change my avatar is through my
laptop, it's been that way for months for me.
Noticed the difference when updated software to 9.1OS.

Ann we know you sparkle so don´t worry, I did find a few years ago that I couldn´t change back to the name I had hence I stopped doing Christmas names. When my tears stop I will not be able to go back to Uzzi in the Sun or Uzzi in Sunshine,

Half right then. had a comunication from Karen to say they have managed to remove the bauble avatar. OK great. But it still won't let me add another photo so i am stuck with the horrid silhouette now. (of a male).

I've had trouble loading a new avatar in the past because it had too many pixels and was that slow it just timed out. It was when I bought a new camera. Once I resized the photo to be under 2000 pixels it loaded quickly. Not had a new and better camera have you Ann?

No, same camera and in some instances a photo that has been on here before. And the one of Luke is a download from Granddaughter in law's phone. I will leave it for now but it a bit old. Scared to try another one.

If I use Firefox, I cannot change my avatar.

If I use my "old" system (Internet Explorer), I can change my avatar!

Also...... when I find images on the internet & want to save them (usually to use as an avarar) I cannot save them using Firefox.

I changed my name over Christmas, to LadySantaScozz, I've gone back to my usual.

I was using firefox for both the new ones that failed and the old one that didn't I wonder if an update has done something.? Not sure how to find out though. :-(
