hi am looking for any family members still living who i can talk to or meet if possible and hopefully get photos of any members i have lost.

i was in a house fire at Albert street Chester Le street myself Sharon westlake and my father Alan westlake was the only survivors my father past away in 2001. i lost my mother June Sterman and brothers Stephen westlake and peter westlake and sisters Diane westlake and Sandra westlake.

I took the liberty of Googling your story,Sharon, and would recommend that others do too.

Your poor dad must have been severely traumatised. Of course, then,you were left to get over it and it doesn't look like he ever did, poor man.

Do you know of any uncles or aunts? It is possible that there are some he kept away from, trauma doesn't make you rational!

There are 7 trees on ancestry with Alan and June Stirman. Although not showing no more than this (no parents etc) maybe because of the tragedy.These people and one has the Westlake name maybe be able to help.xx

I have just read the story of the fire in the newspaper Sharon. what a very sad story, I am so sorry for your terrible loss. I hope that, with the help of people on here you are able to find closure so that you can get on with your life bringing up your children.
