What a shock that he has died after a short illness. Even the PM has put up a tribute. Did love his morning programme.

RIP Terry always a pleasure to listen to. Condolences to his family. <3

Yes Pat,,,heard it announced on Andrew Marr show...what a shock...it's not long since I saw him on TV.
I also loved his early morning programme.when I was working ,used to have the radio come on as alarm call,and it set me up for a happy day.

RIP Terry. You will be missed.

Yes, just seen it (many times) on facebook a shock to everyone as nobody knew he was ill.

Oh so so sad, I loved to listen to him on the radio years ago, he always made me laugh out loud. I wondered why he didn't do children in need last year. He will be much missed, it is like losing an old friend. RIP Terry and condolences to his wife.

The only person I could bear to listen to on the radio before going to work in the mornings.

Very sad, it's just one part of life after another being torn away this year.

I truly loved this guy on the air plus all the terrific things he did for people. For so long he was the voice of the UK a ray of good humour on wet working winter mornings. A true ace. Gutted.
