Enjoy getting back into your family history ........ especially NW Cumbria. Some of OH's ancestors came from that area, and I have loved going back there.

I can honestly say that you were the only member of the GR staff/team that I ever had any faith in. Things have certainly gone down hill since you left the scene.

Thank you for all your support over the years Phil and I wish you every success and happiness in your future career.

Like others,I am sorry to see you go.and do hope you go on to do the job you love elsewhere.
Genes was the first insight into my family history and the help from members in the early days was superb,then the chat sites where we made friends with others with the same interests.
It's not quite the same these days and not as much interaction,except from the few stalwarts.
Anyway ,all the best and maybe we will find you on another site.

Thank you once again for all your best wishes. I have missed being an active member of the boards, but I did dip in from time to time to see how things were going. I hope Genes does get some new life put into it. I will stay in touch, and maybe catch some of you at events. As my wife said, I can now go back to enjoying my hobby again!
