"He/she who is born without ears can never wear spectacles". (Or something like that - with apologies to Mr Spock.) :-D

Alexander Armstrong has a lovely singing voice though and he can't help the shape of his ears....and he is ntelligent.
Does anyone remember when we used to sleep our babies on one side and then the other and tuck the ear flat so they wouldn't stick out?
We never put them on their backs when little, but swaddled them, arms tucked in.
I don't know whether it was an old wives tale about sticky out ears ,but it was what we were told then.

As I said earlier I haven't come across Keith Lemon - don't think I will be looking for him either. I do like Eddie Izzard and Alexander Armstrong is in the "neither like nor dislike" category, but I don't think he can be held to blame for the shape of his ears (I thought Dr Spock :-D)

Izzard I can just about put up with in small doses but Lemon - no way. He isn't even funny, just boring and obnoxious.

Guinevere

Guinevere Report 6 Mar 2016 11:20

;-) indeed, our Rose.

Alexander Armstrong has Hobbit ears. I don't like him much, a bit smug.

Can't stand him. Just don't find him funny.

Love Eddie Izzard, though. And supporting his current fund raising marathons in Africa.

Personally he isn't my cup of tea and I don't find him funny
But my friend does his security and she loves him
She said he is far funnier in real life than on TV :-D :-D

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 5 Mar 2016 20:01

a strait jacket would seem more appropriate

Island

Island Report 5 Mar 2016 19:23

He first appeared as Avid Merrion, wearing a neck brace - I believe that was also a 'gimmick'. He should have tried being funny instead.

Creepy.

dear Dermot

afaik this pratt mainly frequents morning tv which you may sometimes watch if you are ill or stuck in a hotel room waiting for a biz apprt or even the local GPs. Most of the denizens of morning TV are tedious, not funny, TV (un)reality repeats or well past their sell by date. Keith Lemon is in the last category .So far past that he is a

tip: most hotels now have internet to the room. It is usually possible with a little ingenuity to plug in Chromecast and avoid the hotel tv altogether inc Keith Lemon.

no, I don't know why people watching am tv but then I don't know why some people lie on beds of nails or cross busy roads with headphones on while texting on their iPhone. It takes all sorts.
