I just took advantage of the 50% off PPV offer from GR. First time I've ever tried to look at the images here......and the last. When I go looking for documents, I want to see originals, not someone's transcription of them. While transcriptions are a good starting point, I never trust the info there until I have checked it out personally. So far, I've done three searches at a cost of 15 credits and have yet to see an original! I'll use up the credits I have but won't be hurrying out to buy more.Ah well, live and learn. I'll stick with Ancestry and Family Search and Scotland's People. |
