Wow! What a find for you! The folks I'm looking for kept their locations a secret ;-)
I've been hunting for years for two gr-gr-grandfathers. Apparently, one was never born and the other never died. Hahaha!
Thanks for your post.

Good for you Cathy.........I also like to view the original documents.

I always check out the previous and next pages as well, family members are often found a few doors away.

I found one of mine living in a barn in 1861, poor Arther.....going back a page I found his wife living with another man as his housekeeper in the same lane. As her name was wrongly transcribed, I might never have found her.

I just took advantage of the 50% off PPV offer from GR. First time I've ever tried to look at the images here......and the last. When I go looking for documents, I want to see originals, not someone's transcription of them. While transcriptions are a good starting point, I never trust the info there until I have checked it out personally. So far, I've done three searches at a cost of 15 credits and have yet to see an original! I'll use up the credits I have but won't be hurrying out to buy more.Ah well, live and learn. I'll stick with Ancestry and Family Search and Scotland's People.
