Just to add to my previous post. T'other night (Like others on here) I found a box telling me Win 10 was going to download at ................... However I cancelled it but I never leave PC on when not in use anyway - to me it would seem very poor security to do so |

If you have installed drivers for yr mouse try removing them esp. if it is Logitech or elderly MS Mouse. Non gaming mice will generally run just fine without custom drivers whether wireless or tethered. |

I checked through my updates history yesterday, for a different issue, and noticed that Win10 had spent much of last August trying to install without me knowing. |

When I turned my computer on this morning (I am in NZ) I was immediately informed that Windows 10 would be installed on the 27th. If I wanted to change the date of installation or cancel it "click here" which I did, and I made sure it said cancel the installation. It will be interesting to see if they take notice and dont instal it. You will hear my screams if they ignore my cancellation. |

Well I've just read about half of that and was annoyed. Who reads 45 pages of terms and conditions or even 4? I don't. I just ticked the box or you can't have it. |

I think you do just have to be careful and accept how public your use of the net is. I have noticed recently that many names I have been in touch with over something entirely different on a different activity altogether are suggested to me as Friends on Facebook within 48 hours! |

I agree, David, about MS controlling our computers, and watching what we look at :-| |

For us going with W10 was a 'no brainer'. We upgraded a desktop and a laptop last August and have never looked back. Both machines are past their 'sell by' in technical terms but nevertheless still perform admirably for what we need to use them for. |
