Apparently, if you want to stay for more than 2 hours, you have to pay something like £12 in the Smiths shop there! :-0 :-0 :-0

Gin, hope your grandson gets the job.

I do M & S every Friday with friends so we'll see what's happening at ours.

Got two lovely lotus lights for the fireside at BHS this morning plus some odds and ends. It's such a shame it's closing as I think our local one is great. I feel sorry for all those people who have to set about looking for other jobs.

I know Lyn!

But you should have seen the place it was like a demolition site!

There was building work going on and everything was boarded up with signs to make you go different ways to get in! Wasn't it Ann!

And there wasn't much of anything there to justify it really!

Joy - I don't think the job is really for him, it's more like labouring. We all think it's best that he furthers his fisheries studies instead :-)

He would be better off finishing his studies in the long term, Lyn, you're right.

What kind of fisheries study is he doing Gin?

**Ann**

**Ann** Report 9 Jun 2016 19:57

Your right Jem, however the loss to the establishment was £12 not £100 and reading up on the stuff I sent you at the time...they can not legally make you pay more them being a private concern and not linked with the Council :-| :-|

OH did find a case on line of someone going to court over it, and the judge upheld the firms fine.

So we are hoping that pleading poor little me may work :-D :-D :-D

It's environmental, waterways and fisheries, Joy. He's completed his foundation course, sort of like an HND, and he could now do a degree in the subject. :-)

He's also applied for a job on a fish farm in the Falkland Islands - we're not going to take him there! :-0 :-D ;-)
