I'm thinking of sending my American cousin some Cadburys Chocolate bars from the UK. |

Moves to prevent retailers importing British-made Cadbury chocolate into the US have scandalised some expats, who say US-made Cadbury chocolate is inferior - and who often view Hershey's, the most popular US chocolate, as beneath contempt. |

Thanks Kay - I guess that answers my question that ours is still the best! :-) |

As I understand it, most American chocolate tastes nothing like ours - not sure why. |

Thanks Andysmum. By "proper" chocolate do you mean Thornton's? |

My sister who lives in Florida always takes Galaxy bars back with her as she can't get it in Florida and she likes it more than Cadburys. |

Jan, sorry about the delay in replying. By "proper" chocolate I meant that made by any of the smaller companies, of which Thorntons is just one. It is also easily available, as there are shops in most towns. |
