We'd bought a telly a few months before. Now I told him it was making a high pitched noise, but he didn't believe me. (Apparently, I've since found out women can hear high pitched noises better than men)

By the time he could hear it, it had got loud. The engineer came out, but it didn't work properly afterwards.

OH demanded they sort it. He had to sit in the shop all day. Telling customers as they came in, not to shop there :-D
He pointed to the firms catch phrase on the back of the receipt, which said "Satisfaction Guaranteed!" ... and said "Well, I can't get no satisfaction!"

Daughter thought it was all brilliant!

Eventually they had enough and took the telly in to be sorted.

When it came back, there was a note on it from the shop to the engineers saying ... "In to be checked cos the Customer was giving the shop a hard time!" :-0 :-0 :-D :-D

When we switched it on ... the was no sound AT ALL! They had disconnected the speakers and not attached them again. The telly was never any good, and we swore we would never buy anything form Dixons / Currys (same firm) again!

OH did a sit in in Dixons with daughter when she was about 8 or 9 :-D :-D :-D

I said no way am I taking it back...but I do have the sleeve from the packaging stating the use by date as the 7th July....well bring that to customer services then :-D :-D

There used to be a time when they would fall over backwards if you had smelly meat products from them..not anymore :-(
