Gawd, Emma, that's early. Are they not having six weeks then?

They have been off for three weeks already so
six by the time they go back :-D

That'll flummox the travel agents then. :-D

All we need is for the English and/or Welsh schools to start their school hols in August through to mid-September and then perhaps all of those lawmakers with children at private schools where the hols are usually around eight weeks will have to start paying the same price as the parents of children at state schools.

They might then do something about the huge prices charged during school hols by travel firms etc - and not before time.

I agree Joy, it is disgraceful the hike in
prices and I don't blame people for taking their kids out
of school for a holiday.
If their attendance has been good and an affordable holiday
comes up why not :-)
