What sparked the conversation was a discussion about the British weather. A tube of suntan cream might be used for 5 days in one year, then gather dust in the cupboard for the next 12 months. |

Quite often , potions, and the like have a "use by" date (once opened)or dispose of, after this date |

Well worth mentioning Bob, especially for medication. A lot of over the counter medications have a date on the packaging. |

Many over counter products have a lasting date,,,,it means they are less or none effect after that date/year as with all combinded potions break down even natural ones.......even unopened sterile products and that includes plasters which some have an expiary date.! |

I usually ignore BBF dates and go by smell or sight, especially where food is concerned |

You can always use out of time sun cream as a moisturiser as long as it smells ok |
