I give up! :-S :-S :-S

I don't think even GR can understand their accounting system!

I have never been charged as much as £8.96 for 12 months.

GR can't charge more because I'm not in the UK..... the bank charges a fee for out of Oz transactions.

I pay $17.96 for a six month subscription. There is no bank fee payable by me.

response...........

Dear Catherine

Thank you for your e mail.

The longer a customers has been with us and continually renews the subscription they will have a lower price.

A change was made in your account on the 14 th August 2013 as you manually purchased your new subscription rather than allowing the automatic renewal to continue on the 22nd of the month.

This has therefore changed the amount you are paying.

This can happen when any change is made to your subscription.

If you need any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us again.

:-S

The only time I paid "automatically" was the year after I joined... then I unticked the box. I have paid before the due date every year since then.....I joined in 2005, so I have "non-automatic" paid from 2007-2015, except for one year when someone paid my subscription as a gift!

I've had enough of their faffing about. :-P

Last year they snuck in a subs rise of £1. Said I couldn't complain as I hadn't done so when the renewal notice came out.

So now I am paying £8.96 for 12 months.

How many "active" members on GR? Twelve?

22 August, there will be eleven.

Unless GR see how silly they are being and reduct my subs!

It's not the amount, it's the principle.
