All the Swallows and Amazons books by Arthur Ransome (I was given the first for my 8th birthday) and also HMS Ulysses, by Alastair MacLean. It is so realistic that it was quite a long time before I realised it was fiction. |

Well I tried, I wracked my brains and couldn't come up with one favourite. I can come up with favourite authors though. Diana Galbaldan, Kate Moss, Kate Morton, Daphne Du Maurier, susanna Kearsley, Philippa Gregory, Elizabeth Chadwick. rosamunde picher, Barbara Erskine, Louise Candlish. To name a few. |
