We have very noisy parties which go on late 3 or 4 times every year, lots of live music nothing recorded. Some of the media people are quite well known / on the way up and really know how to party. The neighbours are all invited and never moan - free nosh, free booz and the chance to have a selfie with somebody who might be famous one day.

The downside is dealing with all the lost property the next day as you say. And of couise the expense of a couple of bouncers to keep the riff raff out. Valuables and such are all put away securely.

At a pinch in the city a party once a month might be ok ish though imho pushing it. Every week is plain unreasonable and prob. not much of a party anyway.

Landlords don't care what their tenants do so long as it is lawful, the property is not damaged and the rent gets paid. Anybody who meets these conditions is not going to get a blast from their landlord that's for sure. The police are all busy running call centers.

Trouble is the landlady doesn't care and thinks they're fine upstanding citizens which doesn't say much about her does it. Yes you're right and we are keeping a record. As for the video, hubby wants to put it on youtube !!!

Hope you kept a copy of the recording! As it's most nights and damage occurs to your own property/home, I'd certainly call the cops. You can only be tolerant for so long.

If you don't want to do it too often, you could keep a 'nuisance' diary with times, duration and events + photos of any damage that occurs within your own boundary. With enough evidence, the landlord/owner could evict them.

Last night there was a very loud party next door to me outside. Ended up I had to call the police as a fight broke out and my downpipe was broken. The young man (mid 20's) who father rents the house (but not there last night) decided he'd get his own back on me for calling the cops by mooning in front of my window....forgetting I have security cameras. This morning one of the hung over guys knocked on my door asking for his car keys as he'd left them here last night.....my house looks nothing like the party house !!
So taking into account the father is even worse than the sons, who would just put up with the noise and damage most nights and who would call the cops ???
