IT was bloody shocking all round.....to dump the years of waste on the hillsides above villages instead of paying the haulage to cart it to a safer place, 116 children died needlessly along with their teachers :-( :-(

AND....The bigwigs in London decided a payout (of monies that were left) of around a £1000 per family......some bright spark came up with the idea of ......depending on how close they were to their child would stipulate if they deserved the full payment :-0 :-0 :-0

I ahven't seen any photos of my granny, when she was younger, but she sure needed a NO NO for her chin :-D :-D :-D aww bless her, hard as nails she was. My grandad on the other hand was a lovely big softie.

They sailed to America in 1952 how cool was that back then :-D :-D :-D
