Has anyone mentioned this on their FB page? I'm aware it's also going down the pan but it might get the missing poppy noticed.

For those who aren't aware how this situation happens every year have a look through this old thread started 2 years ago: http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards/board/suggestions/thread/1346548?page=0

Presumably it was started after many appeals for the Poppy in 2014.

I expect we'll get the old Christmas baubles before we get the Poppy

( I don't have FB)

I have posted a picture of a poppy on their FB page; it has been liked by GR.

Hooray!!!

Kay???? I've never used an Avatar.

If I wasn't stuck at home with a filthy cold (kindly donated by other family members) I would be out wearing my poppy with pride.

Having had a Uncle die at the Battle of Jutland I was pleased to be able to see the Poppy window at St Magnus Cathedral, Kirkwall, on it's last day. It was very special and you could get close to it. All the shops opposite the Cathedral had decorated their windows and many had special items for sale commemorating the battle.

And about time too!

You know, it would save the annual anguish if they'd just give a date for when they propose to add the Poppy.

The poppy symbol has arrived. One week before Armistice seems fair enough.
