The concrete jungles I am more familiar with, although my early days in the land downunder were spent in the outback.

Remarkably, no matter where you live in the outback, the outback is another 100 kilometres down the track :-S

Taking pity on Allan, and anyone else who has never heard of it, Big Brother is a programme invented several years ago where a group of total strangers are locked up together in a house, with all mod cons, to see how they get on. Needless to say, because they have been carefully selected, they don't! Each week one of them is booted out, and the last one left is the winner.

After a few series the inevitable happened and Celebrity Big Brother was started. Most of the so-called celebrities I have never heard of, and apart from odd bits when visiting people who like the programme, I have never watched it.

I don't think you're missing much, but others must enjoy it or it would have folded long ago.

And Honey G was voted off X-factor by the public but because the show's producers didn't quite understand why, they brought her back to 'entertain' us at the end of last night's show. Confused.com :-S

We usually watch the semi final and final. Actually there are s couple of good singers in the final this year. One is Finnish. (ok. ok there has to be a joke in there somewhere).
