InspectorGreenPen

InspectorGreenPen Report 2 Feb 2017 05:55

Bill?

I read recently it could be in the region of £50 Billion!

Kense

Kense Report 2 Feb 2017 09:07

You are right IGP, could even be £60 billion, that's nearly £1000 for every person in the country. We'll need some really good trade deals to offset that.

Amateur night
Hard times
No plan no idea
Except maybe a fire sale to Us big biz
Other than discussing the € 60 bn divorce bill there won't be any substantive trade talks until after the French and German elections later this year. When (if) they do happen they will be v much take it or leave it from the EU side and Def won't be concluded quickly.
Meanwhile a govt borrowing money like a drunken sailor, with 8% trade deficit and record private debt can consider life with a collapsing currency.
Quite how this will play out in 2020 is anyone's guess. George Soros expects May's government to collapse. Given the ineptitude of Labour the glass is dark.
Defaulting debtors tend not to be able to take back control.

magpie Report 2 Feb 2017 10:34

Goodness Rollo, it's such a pity that all MP's the world over lack your wisdom, as there doesn't seem any subject about which you're not an expert!!!!? :-S

JoyLouise Report 2 Feb 2017 10:46

George Soros is usually bang on.

It surprised me how big the majority was.

RolloTheRed

RolloTheRed Report 2 Feb 2017 10:54

Liam Fox believes that 2+2=5 but as an early adopter of alternative facts he would.
Magpie might care to post something useful other than abuse and trite comments. Demonstrating a better grasp on math than David Davis would be an easy first step.

On Monday I will also be casting a brexit vote on to what extent we shall pull out of London. There are several hundred jobs on the line. I am in a minority in favour of keeping some sort of prescence. Most likely decision will be wait n see. I hope May's white paper is more realistic than her absurd speech at Lancaster House.

magpie Report 2 Feb 2017 11:29

Probably Rollo because some of the rubbish you write is almost always beyond comment. So, I'll leave you to your drivel - cheerio!

Caroline

Caroline Report 2 Feb 2017 11:52

So nothing changes then.........all Governments spend more than they have....staying in the EU cost money leaving cost money.....the sun will rise in the morning skies and set in the night skies......MPs will lie....newspapers will go off on their own bias agendas......I think I'll have a cup of tea.......

If Steve brannon gets his war in the South China Sea sunrise may not happen.
He and his pal Donald are the Maybot's best friends

Caroline

Caroline Report 2 Feb 2017 12:19

Maybe but there's not a lot we can do about that right now is there so instead how about enjoying today....go outside and clear the cobwebs from the brains....was it Winnie the Pooh who said it's a blustery day ?......blustery days can be good they can also be bad just like glasses can be half full.....

Dermot

Dermot Report 2 Feb 2017 12:24

The shadow chancellor has praised “dignified” MPs who defied a three-line whip to vote against triggering Brexit, revealing that twelve frontbench MPs may not be fired for defying the party line. (BREITBART NEWS).

Kense

Kense Report 2 Feb 2017 18:38

The big shock was Diane Abbot abstaining.

Caroline

Caroline Report 2 Feb 2017 18:43

supercrutch

supercrutch Report 2 Feb 2017 18:57

She arrived home this afternoon, saw the ITV news team and kept on going...lolol

That woman holds the Shadow Home Secretary position (forgive the phrase) for one reason and one only.

As she was drinking in the Red Lion the night before with her cronies maybe it wasn't a migraine!

Denburybob

Denburybob Report 2 Feb 2017 19:11

Big shock my a**e. The woman was just covering her backside. Which is probably full of splinters from that fence she is sitting on. As for Jeremiah Corbyn, he has always been anti EU.

JoyBoroAngel

JoyBoroAngel Report 2 Feb 2017 20:24

We managed before the EEC we will manage again without it
We might have a few years of settling in forging new trade agreement
But This country has gone through a lot worse

and we come through it and we will do it again :-D :-D :-D
