A young girl with a baby is moving in near us
She had nothing but a bed
She has had a tough life and wants to have a new start in a new Town
She doesn't qualify for a Social grant or loan
Because she works 16 hours

So we put the word our and
in 24 hours we have sorted her out between us

Makes me so proud of the people we know :-D :-D

What a wonderful thing to do Joy <3

A new start with new people and friends surrounding her for her new beginning

I am so happy she is moving in with something Mersey

When we told her she cried and said
Why are these people helping me they don't even know me

Stray told her that's what we do round here one big Family :-D :-D

I think you all deserve a pat on the back and more and admiration for all
your help.....such a great story..... :-D

That girl will remember the kindness you all
showed her and her baby for the rest of her life. <3

She said how could she repay everybody's kindness
and we said as you replace things for your own
Give what you don't want to somebody else in need

She is a lovely girl have not met her baby yet no doubt I will soon :-D :-D

Wow the benefits system has got tough if a single mother who's only income comes from 16 hrs pw wages can't have help getting basic furniture in for her and the baby.

They have totally restructured the Benefits system

I know people with no legs
who cant claim PiPs or DLA
Maybe you should watch

Some body has messaged me and Said she may qualify for a small grant
When I check the net it didn't say anything about ie Tax credits
so maybe she can try Fingers crossed :-D

I don't understand the system myself
so its all news to me :-0 :-0

we sometimes help a lady with a 6 year old
Just the odd few hours here and there
We do it for free just to help her out
He come in here like a breath of fresh air
He calls us nanny and granddad Zoo
we also have Baby Satan to who is 11
When Stray is at work
