Unfortunately, if you listen to all of the advice over the years we'd eat nothing. |

I do agree if we did listen to everything we would not eat nothing. A varied diet and a little of everything in moderation x |

According to an article in The Telegraph - Acrylamide is a chemical which forms naturally in both manufactured and home cooked food as a result of burning and cooking at high temperatures such as baking, frying, grilling and roasting. |

When my granddaughter was on the way I spent many hours trying to find safe products for babies. a very well known manufacturer was one of the worst for the amount of bad chemicals in their products. |

Years ago, but then, years after we'd been told how 'good' olive oil was for us, it transpired that heating olive oil released carcinogens - yet still, cookery programmes tell us to 'wham in the olive oil', heat up and 'blast' in the food!! |

Acrylamade is present in just about anything grilled roasted or toasted Inc home cooking. However the amount present is far higher industrial products such as crisps and pringles. Acrylamide is on the cancer watch list in the USA and EU. |
