I took my inspiration from Allan's thread .... it's bland lol :-D :-D

It's north facing and dark, so white ceiling and woodwork. Antique white walls, beige /cream carpet and the curtains were natural.

Not a lot of walls will actually show. I have bought 2 lovely big canvas paintings of Central Park with trees in full bloom- pinks reds, rusts to give the room some colour.
Got to look for lighting and rug to do the same now.

We painted our bedroom white as well and we really like it. :-D

I have some colourful cushions that I had dyed and some hand dyed tie backs on the curtains.

I like things light and airy too Von. I tried white in the living room after it was plastered. But it is a tiny room and it was so brilliant white it gave me migraine. Then I found B&* Antique white which solved the problem.

I usually mix my own colours with odds and ends mixed in with lots of white :-D :-D :-D

Fly they were bits of mainly silk fabrics I had dyed on various courses,
They had been in a draw for ages so I was glad to use them for something

Not even got the plans back yet Jem :-| next doors got their planning past so we should not have a problem :-)

Daughter says I'm a hoarder, but I say I save loads of money I haven't got but doing these things.

I had a dark blue velvet door curtain. When I changed the colour scheme I made it into a padded cushion to hang from a curtain rail as a headboard for GS1. I sewed on red Spiderman Flannels as pockets for his little teddies, for his Spider-man themed bedroom. He loved it! :-D :-D
