You can't beat Vivaldi, depending on the season.

Beethoven is also nice, particularly the song dedicated to his ninth child, who was a girl.

It was his Ode to Joy :-D :-D

Madness are great and the nicest bunch of chaps you could meet. I do prefer Rock and some heavy metal though even though I am in my mid sixties :-0

Caroline

Caroline Report 21 Apr 2017 11:23

Maybe Allan but don't forget she was dancing away when Madness sang "Our house.." from her rooftop.

Allan

Allan Report 21 Apr 2017 11:20

Caroline, you could be confusing the Queen with the Duchess of Windsor :-0

Treason! Treason!

Off with his head! Off with his head! :-D :-D :-D

Punk!, indeed.
Apart from our drummer we are all in our 80s and our audience are usually younger than us and they love a bit of happy music they can sing,or dance along to.

Caroline

Caroline Report 21 Apr 2017 11:01

Famously so Allan, in fact her taste it seems are very diverse

Allan

Allan Report 21 Apr 2017 10:56

I didn't know that the Queen was into Punk.

Perhaps Prince Phillip has piercings which could be related to the Queens male ancestor

Treason! Treason! Off with his head! :-D :-D

Caroline

Caroline Report 21 Apr 2017 10:46

Totally agree.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 21 Apr 2017 10:41

Caroline

Caroline Report 21 Apr 2017 10:39

This reminds me of someone saying once they couldn't wait for the time the golden oldies at the seniors home was Punk music and the like...
