Sharron

Sharron Report 9 Jun 2017 10:45

Because I am incredibly posh I have an upstairs bathroom and a downstairs wet room. The wet room is used during the day so I put the bog cleaner down overnight and the bathroom gets used at night.

I read somewhere that , if you leave the bog brush in the pan when the cleaner is down you are giving the brush a soak in the bleach.I thought that a good idea so I left the brush in the upstairs pan with the bleach yesterday and told himself when he came in from work and went upstairs to change.

The assumption was that I would find the brush in the holder when I went up but, NO, the brush was still in the pan. Luckily it transpired that he had not weed all over it (always something to be grateful for!) but had taken it out while he did his bit, flushed the bog and put the brush back in.

Does he think I am keeping the brush there now I ask myself.

My OH would say - I put it back because I didn't know why you'd put it in there and I knew I'd get into trouble if I moved it. :-D

His explanation involved putting it back to clean it.

This is when the bleach had been flushed away.

I wonder if his brain needs oiling or something.

I had explained to him why the brush was in the pan. It is necessary to do this because, otherwise he helps/interferes. I used one of those net scrunchy things to get a stubborn bit of limescale off the pan once so I thought that, if I left it looped over the brush handle, it would not be used in the bath.

It took three goes of putting it back on the brush to get the message to him.

Don't know if this will help but if either of us have put any cleaner and/or brush in the pan we put the lid down and leave a bleach bottle on it so we lift the lid and flush before we use it. :-D

Sharron

Sharron Report 10 Jun 2017 21:24

But you don't put the brush back in after you have flushed do you?

Man finds woman has put something in the wrong place.
- He puts it in the right place and thinks no more about it.

Woman finds man has put something in the wrong place:
- She makes him put it in the right place
- Gives him a ten minute (if he is lucky) lecture about it
- Phones her besties to get their sympathy
- Puts the story on social media site(s).

I am sorry Kense. Have I been sexist and offensive?

If so, I will delete immediately.

Sharron, no we don't it is put back in its holder.
I do find though that when he does the washing up or some such job he does just that, i.e. He doesn't wipe round the sink or if he gets a new toilet roll out he doesn't put it on the holder properly, as in he stands it on it. :-(

No Sharron, you haven't. I intended to put GRD (Grinning, running ducking) at the end but messed it up by enclosing it in chevrons.
