Another vehicle running down pedestrians, this time outside a mosque in Finsbury Park ..............

News states....

One person arrested, vehicle hit worshippers, he had knife one man stabbed :-(

Latest - no stabbing. One man dead. Police treating it as a potential terrorist attack. Witnesses say 2 men ran away. Awful.

the latest I saw was that it looks like a white man shouting he wanted to kill Muslims.

One witness said the man didn't say anything, it's all still quite confusing but it does seem to have been a deliberate attack. What times we live in.

The police say only one man involved. Various reports about what he said. None confirmed.

Now its three men involved apparently. Too much speculation without the truth being known. Whilst people in general tend to be naturally curious, the reporters are turning us into a nation of ghouls as they almost run from ambulance to ambulance, from bystander to bystander. To what avail? I have turned the tv off until later when more solid facts may emerge.

At the moment it seems one mad man aimed his van at a group of people helping a man who had collapsed in the street.

I do not support the attacker at all totally stupid act no matter who you are and what you think you're protesting for..........BUT....did JC really need to stand there crying in the street?

I haven't seen any footage of J.Corbyn weeping in the street - and I don't particularly want to thanks.

We need leaders who stand firm and give us confidence and then go and do their weeping behind closed doors.

I guess I am old fashioned too but I was brought up never to make 'a scene' in public - to use self-control until you had the privacy to release one's emotions.

I once saw a tip on having a clothes peg in your pocket when you knew you were going to face an emotional event but needed to keep your dignity. You simply clip it on your finger till it hurts. The pain stops you weeping. It works. :-D

Not distracting from the awful event.....but tears from any in charge in public you've got to try and hold it in.

It is a sad state of affairs this country has got into. There are many who believe faith leaders need to put their own houses in order and until there there is real evidence that this is happening, sadly, this is probably not the last incident of this nature.

Finsbury was one of the target districts for May's "are you legal if not then go home" ad vans. Just a thought.

Sylvia can relax. Islington is a very diverse community of all ethnicities and faiths, rich and poor. It has its problems but overt racism is not one of them. They certainly do not need J Corbyn handing out Kleenex.

What scares the borough is Sylvia's bête noir, property developers.

And yet the guy hired the truck in Wales didn't he, so wouldn't necessarily have seen any trucks from TM or anyone else on the streets of Finsbury.
