No. He was leaving the RAF anyway, he'd done his time. The guy that arrived to take over from him was a very dour, plain looking Scotsman. The WRAFs wanting dental work done dropped quickly :-D :-D

I don't think he ever realised what was going on. He was a really nice guy and a very good dentist.

Too true. In one place the WRAFs were nearly all coming to the dentist. I couldn't believe how many turned up until I thought about it. Guess who had a good looking boss who was in his late 20s. He was however married with 2 children and they didn't know that. :-D

The first time I saw someone faint at the sight of a syringe was an American marine, just back from Vietnam. He had to duck to get through the doorway, he was huge. The moment the dentist brought the syringe up out he went. :-S

No one would have known, always had an area where the patient couldn't see so things like extraction equipment were not seen prior to being used.

Never had to have any but you're not alone. I always had a large kidney dish standing by as many felt sick as the impression material hit the soft palate.
