	I think it was just because I had only just received it. Probably takes time for the cogs to grind and all that. I do have a limit that is higher than £50 but it is quite unusual for me to owe that much on it.

	Perhaps you need to use it in a retail machine first? It would stop its use if it had been intercepted. It's highly unlikely they'd have blocked it for £50. They'd have just increased your limit. They luv people spending more - just think of the interest they could charge!

	Update. I had not actually ordered the soap nuts and lavender oil when I posted and they look like they might be in jeopardy anyway. The new credit card came yesterday, well, I have run up something approaching £50 on the old one so it must be full, and the letter said I could use it immediately so I did. The bloody bank would not accept it!!!!!!!

	I could find one of those bags that come with washing tablets. I am sure there is one in a drawer somewhere because I put the pips and stuff in them when I make marmalade.

	...how about using a glove or mitten? You could put one nut in each finger of a glove :-D (mind you, I have no idea of the size of these nuts) :-S
