Long ago we missed our late train from London to Canterbury so we took the only alternative to Ashford, Kent. Rained like mad, we couldn't hitch a lift. My friend roughed the night in a bus shelter. I found a cute grave with a roof nearby nice n dry. So I slept there just fine. |

I don't walk under ladders - not so much a superstition - just don't fancy something dropping from a height on to me!!! :-D :-D |

It was getting dark when I noticed an elderly chap staring intently & pointing at a headstone as I ambled by him through our local cemetery late yesterday evening. |

Haven't done that for years, Dermie. 'Twas never a big thing where I was born, however it used to be a massive thing where OH was born. |

Just realised, when I see a single magpie, I always say 'Hello Mr Magpie, how's Mrs Magpie?' |
