It's like getting into a warm bath but is cooler than the atmosphere.

It stays warm now through into December but takes a while to warm up after spring.

There's no tide here so it's always in the same place during summer. Can be different in the winter storms though.

Pebbles get thrown up in the storms and on our local beach they pile them up at the end of spring and people take them home for their gardens. You scoop out the soil a little around the roots of plants and make a dip, you then place the stones at the edge of the dip and rain fills up the area instead of running off and not getting to the roots.
