Sylvia fairly obviously has not had the misfortune to drive around England much in the last ten years Not only are the motorways badly in need of expansion and repair but the A/B classified road system around most medium and large towns is also a slow moving jam for much of the day. Moving traffic of, say, the M3 onto the A31 would never work. Indeed the A31 , A36 A414 A12, A13, A2, A25 A38 and many more have serious problems of there own without decanting traffic fom motorway jams. |
