throw a sweet wrapper to the ground and its a £60 fine for littering...
what's the difference between that and placing flowers on the pavement?

Sharron

Sharron Report 16 Apr 2018 11:51

The flowers will be starting to wilt and rot.The council have a duty of care to the public to keep the pavement safe. They must remove the slippery vegetation and plastic wraps.

So many decent gypsies, living quietly in their communities, are going to suffer for the behaviour of this low-life family.

Eight members of this family pride themselves in robbing OAPS
and have convictions for doing so

Caroline

Caroline Report 15 Apr 2018 18:35

In fact we've said the opposite!

Dermot, no-one said there was an inevitable link between thievery and travellers.

Caroline

Caroline Report 15 Apr 2018 17:46

Pretty sure none of us have said Dermot but this particular branch of that family tree seem to have very sticky fingers.

Sharron

Sharron Report 15 Apr 2018 16:49

They look down on non-travellers.

In the words of the wonderful Mr Kristofferson, "Everybody gotta have somebody to look down on".

Dermot

Dermot Report 15 Apr 2018 16:29

There is nothing inevitable about the link between thievery & travellers.

But our appetite for public shaming thrives.

Sharron

Sharron Report 15 Apr 2018 15:44

You can be sure that Henry Vincent would not have been robbing (choring from) his own.

Caroline

Dermot sometimes some bring the separation on themselves.

Sharron

Sharron Report 15 Apr 2018 14:38

That works both ways, Dermot.

'Us & them' - a continuous universal debate.

It often conveys the regrettable message that some matter less than others.

Agree with both of you. I know a few families in the forest rough as anything BUT wouldn't steal from you....maybe take a bird or two of the estate mind :-D

I agree, Joy, a burglar is a scumbag in any culture.

Gypsies originate in India and Romania
Travelers and Tinkers from Ireland and Scotland
There are very few True Gypsies in this country

To Be honest I don't care what peoples origins are
But a Burglar is a scumbag in any culture

PS All the true Gypsies Ive met have been lovely :-D :-D
