During Prince Harry's recent wedding I have detected a lot of ill feeling toward

Camilla, Charles' second wife. Seems she has upset Windsor 1 and in so doing has upset Windsor 2. William and Harry are less than superficially friendly toward her.
Is she waiting for someone's death so that Windsor 2 can become Windsor 1 ?

Personally I hope she is kept waiting a very long time, during which William or Harry
might be deemed more suitable candidates for the role.

It is reported that Royal esteem is withering like dry grass across Australia, Canada & Scotland.

What a load of old pants. How do we know who likes who, or what goes on behind closed doors? And who really cares? Charles will be king as he's next in line, that's how it works. It's not a popularity contest.

No one here knows anything. It's just nasty rumours spread by people who know nothing. Why repeat them here?

Charles will be king, Camilla will be queen, if that's what they want and no amount of busybodying on the internet will change a thing.

Leave the poor woman alone and stop reading made up articles in trashy magazines and newspapers.

I really really disliked her and thought she should have chased Charles away with a big stick and told him to do the right thing,,,,,,,,,,but their love for each other has proved beyond doubt Charles should never have married Diana,,,,,,,,and over time I've warmed to her and think she has a certain something and out shines Charles and will fit the role beside Charles what ever title she takes.

anyway the up and coming young will just shrug off the past and us old uns opinions wont matter a jot..

lots of Fake news about.

I felt the same as you Kay about 20 years ago! Over time I've warmed to Camilla and Charles, I think they're a lovely couple and will make an excellent team time come. As for who gets on with with who inside the family? After all this time, frankly who cares!! The young certainly won't, and the rest of us have put it behind us long ago!

Sharron

Sharron Report 5 Jun 2018 11:49

Prince Charles and Camilla should have been allowed to marry when they were first together, it would have saved a great deal of hurt.

Bunnyboo

Bunnyboo Report 5 Jun 2018 12:02

You're so right Sharron! Thank goodness the RF seem to have learnt that lesson and can at last marry who they please.
While Charles lives, he will be king as that's how the constitution works. No question of William overriding his father even if he wanted to, which I very much doubt. Why Harry David? He's sixth in line to the throne and Williams children come before him, as again that's how the system works. Even if they' were minors they would still come before Harry!!

Mind if he had had wed Cam.......I dread to think what any children may have looked like. :-D,,going by her son Tom,,,,,,,,, ;-) :-D :-D :-D,

I still aint no fan of Charles,,,,,,,,,,about time he re-invented himself and had some youthful fun instead of being the old man hes always looked.

Lets see you in a pr of Wranglers or Tesco jeans,Charlie.

Oh come on! No one can be expected to pretend to be something/body they're not! I'd much rather someone was true to themselves than pretending to be trendy when clearly they're not, just to appease public opinion, particularly when that person is 5 months off their 70th birthday!! Nothing worse than an elderly trendy!!
Without the input of Andrew Parker Bowels, I'm sure their children would have been just fine!

Nonsense Dermot can't speak for Australia or Canada
but can assure you Her Majesty and next in line are highly
thought of here in Scotland.

If NS wins the fight for independence ( God forbid ) we will still
look to keep our royalty.

Bunnyboo

Bunnyboo Report 5 Jun 2018 15:25

That's really nice to hear Emma. My cousin in Australia assures me that there too the Queen and the Duke are held in high esteem, the P Of W respected, and the young royals are very popular, so not much withering there Dermot! I can't speak for Canada of course.

If Camilla were to become Queen and Charles died, wouldn't sit well ?

David

David Report 5 Jun 2018 19:18

I meant if Camilla became Queen as a result of the death of ERII

Bunnyboo

Bunnyboo Report 5 Jun 2018 19:35

As consort to the king she will automatically become Queen in exactly the same way as other kings wives have throughout history. That's the way it is and I don't think many people actually care these days! It may be decided to give her a different title, but as for most people it is not an issue any more , it may well be that they don't. Tbh David, why does it matter?!

David

David Report 5 Jun 2018 19:39

Tbh it would concern me or most people. It's a conversation piece, nothing more.

JoyBoroAngel

I personally hope the queen out lives Charles
Then all Camillas scheming comes to nothing

Lets see if they cast her out then or keep her close :-D :-D :-D

David

David Report 5 Jun 2018 22:07

Despite the fact that Windsor 1 has survived several President and Prime Ministers

and Popes she continues to exhibit good health. Long may that continue. Her early

morning ride on horse back albeit a smaller horse these days is doing no harm at all.

Bunnyboo

Bunnyboo Report 6 Jun 2018 08:43

Well, I hope in time time Charles comes to the throne with Camilla by his side. Camilla's scheming? I think that the 'saintly' (?!!) Diana knew more about scheming than Camilla ever would! Presumably though you know them personally to make such a ridiculously sweeping statement?!! I don't think any amount of horse riding can stop the passage of time !!
